Ev Charging

EV Chargers

Professional EV charger installation for your home or business. We handle permits, load calculations, and code-compliant wiring so you can charge safely and reliably.

Home EV Charger Installation

Charging your electric vehicle at home is faster, more convenient, and more cost-effective than relying on public stations. We install Level 2 EV chargers that deliver a full charge overnight, so you start every day ready to drive.

Every installation begins with a load calculation to confirm your electrical panel can handle the additional demand. If an upgrade is needed, we'll walk you through it. We pull permits, install the charger to manufacturer specs, and coordinate inspections—no shortcuts.

Commercial & Fleet Charging

For businesses, multi-unit properties, and fleet operators, we design and install charging infrastructure that scales with your needs. We work with you to determine the right number of stations, manage conduit runs, and ensure your system meets ADA and NJ building codes.

What We Install

  • Level 2 wall-mounted and pedestal chargers – compatible with all EV makes and models
  • Hardwired and plug-in (NEMA 14-50) configurations – depending on your setup and preferences
  • Smart chargers with app control – schedule charging during off-peak hours, monitor usage, and receive alerts
  • Outdoor-rated enclosures and weatherproof installations – built to handle NJ winters

Our Installation Process

We start with a site assessment: panel capacity, distance from the panel to the charger location, and whether your service needs an upgrade. Once we have a plan, we handle the permit application, run the dedicated circuit, mount and wire the charger, and schedule the final inspection.

All work is performed to NEC Article 625 standards and local code. We test every installation before we leave and show you how to operate your new charger.

Why Proper Installation Matters

EV chargers draw significant continuous load—up to 40 or 50 amps. Improper wiring, undersized breakers, or skipped permits create fire hazards and void warranties. We size conductors correctly, install GFCI protection where required, and ensure your charger is listed and labeled.

If you're claiming the federal EV charger tax credit, you'll need documentation that the work was done by a licensed electrician. We provide itemized invoices that meet IRS requirements.

How it works

01

Site Assessment

We evaluate your electrical panel, measure the distance to the charger location, and confirm your service can handle the load. If an upgrade is needed, we provide a clear estimate.

02

Permit & Planning

We pull the necessary permits and plan the circuit route, ensuring compliance with NEC Article 625 and local requirements.

03

Installation

We run a dedicated circuit, install the appropriate breaker and GFCI protection, mount the charger, and complete all connections to manufacturer specifications.

04

Inspection & Testing

We coordinate the final inspection, test the charger, and walk you through operation and any smart features.

Common questions

Do I need to upgrade my electrical panel to install an EV charger?+

It depends on your current panel capacity and existing load. We perform a load calculation during the site visit. Many homes can accommodate a charger without an upgrade, but older panels or homes with electric heat may need additional capacity.

How long does installation take?+

Most residential installations take four to six hours if no panel upgrade is required. If we need to upgrade your service or run a long conduit run, it may take a full day or require a second visit after inspection.

Can I install the charger myself to save money?+

No. EV charger installation requires a licensed electrician and a permit in New Jersey. DIY installations void the charger warranty, create serious fire and shock hazards, and disqualify you from the federal tax credit.
